OUR STORY
Birchsalt Apothecary was inspired by a desire for natural, clean and simple goods.
While spending time out in the garden, founder Kate Kirby, a registered nurse and avid gardener, was eager to dive into the world of handcrafting soap as a sustainable and eco friendly alternative for self-care products.
Based in Maine, she connects with the great outdoors, often harvesting from her own garden for inspiration in creating, all-natural bath essentials.
Birchsalt Apothecary officially launched in 2023.

birchsalt is a fictional word, with a deeper meaning of finding inspiration from land and sea.
