Here is what you need to get started:
- Green onions with roots attached to their bulbs (the white part of the onion!)
- Water

How To Grow Green Onions In Water?
The process of regrowing your green onions couldn’t be easier.
Simply use the green part of the onions and cut 2-3 inches above the roots.
Place the saved bulbs (the white part of the onion) with the roots side down into a glass of water. Use just enough water to cover the roots and change out the water every few days.
Place in a sunny windowsill and watch in amazement as the green onions begin to REGROW from your already used onions!
You can continue this process in the water for an endless supply of fresh green onions, or pot up the bulb with the roots attached into a container with soil!
