OUR TOP 5 CAT FRIENDLY HOUSEPLANTS
This year one of my top priorities was to increase my collection of pet friendly houseplants and give away those that were listed as toxic since we have two curious kitties at home. I originally started off with Orchids and my collection has since grown and I will do a part 2 soon as well!
All plants listed are easy to care for and also beautiful to admire.
You can check with friends or family first to see if they have any you could propagate to help save money, or check with your local garden center or even purchase some off of Etsy!
(I purchased two off Etsy I couldn’t find locally)

1. Thanksgiving Cacti
This cacti is in the same family as the Christmas and Easter cacti. They are very easy to care for and are easily propagated. Plus.. bonus they bloom!
2. Prayer Plant
3. Vining Peperomia
If you were looking for a pet friendly houseplant that vines.. look no further! This vine is in the family of Peperomia’s, which are all cat friendly!
4. Burro’s Tail
First off, how cute is this succulent! This is a trailing succulent also known as, “horse’s tail”, “donkey’s tail” and “lamb’s tail.”

Last but not least, my favorite of all the cat friendly houseplants is the orchid! They come in a variety of different colors and sizes and add a touch of elegance to any space!
